Answered Windows 7 SCSI Unmap Support

    Will Windows 7 ever support Unmap for SSD's like the OCZ RevoDrive 3? You must understand that finding a straight answer for this is difficult because OCZ is pointing the finger at you and you are pointing the finger at them.

    It's unfortunate you did not try to do some research before you asked your question here.

    Unmap is a SCSI command for SCSI hard drives only.

    So, you need to be completely clear about exactly what you are looking for!

    Windows 7 standard components will never issue this command. If they did, it would've been defined in storport.h
