    Hi,

What is the brand and model of your wifi card? If the upgrade advisor results that you need to remove the wireless wlan card program, there may be some compatibility issue. I recommend you to contact manufacturer to confirm if they support this device in Windows 7. BTW, it is a great help if you can hep collecting the hardware specification of your computer.

    1) Click the Start button.
    2) Type: msinfo32.exe and click Enter.
    3) Click File and click Export.
    4) Save the file and upload to SkyDrive.

    Best Regards
    Dale

Don't remove the drivers for the wireless adapter. I did that and had a b*tch getting them back. One of the first thing the upgrade does is it wants to go on line. Just run the upgrade and you will be fine. Remove any programs that it tells you too first like itunes.
After the upgrade has finished go back and run the Dell Upgrade assistance cd and follow the prompts and you should be all set. Oh and it does take a good two hours as advertised. Once your upgrade has completed you can reload the software that you removed before you started unless it is not compatible with Win7.

i saw the same thing in the windows 7 advisor prior to running windows 7 home premium upgrade.  I found no updated drivers for my 1395 wireless card but after doing some research i found that all you have to do is download the same drivers from the dell support drivers page for your computer only do NOT install them.  Do the windows 7 upgrade and wait and see what happens.  After i did the upgrade i had no problems with the drivers for my wireless card at all.  Everything is running fine so i did not have to reinstall the original driver.  If you find that you loose wireless connection just reinstall the driver you downloaded but again I did not have to do this so i just deleted the file once i knew everything worked
I have the vostro 1500 laptop
