Generic RNDIS driver missing

I've plugged in my HTC TyTnII phone using a standard USB cable, and Windows attempts to install it, but complains that it cannot find Generic RNDIS drivers. If it makes a difference, the TyTnII is flashed to WM6.1 on the UK Orange Network.

Did you install the Windows Vista mobile device update pack?

Nope, I did now, and yes it does work!
I'm normally an XP user, so half of my queries may just be XP->Vista usability style issues!
