I think you mean Acer Iconia Tab.
After reading the Acer Iconia Tab A500 User Guide I got to know that you need to install USB drivers in Windows to connect an Acer Iconia Tab.
You may go to http://support.acer.com/us/en/product/family.aspx select Tablet > Iconia Tab > your model. Click the Drivers tab and download the USB driver and install it.

I have the same problem and I have reinstalled the driver from Acer to no avail.
