Support for all Cano hardware is provided by Canon Technical Support @ http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/pixma_ip_series/pixma_ip5200#DriversAndSoftware
Information on the steps to setting up your printer are contained in the documentation that came with the printer. If you are missing any documentation, then go to http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/pixma_ip_series/pixma_ip5200#DriversAndSoftware and downlaod what you need.
The exact procedure for setting up your printer in Windows 7 is put out by Canon, not Microsoft. Some printers tell you install the software first. Others tell you install the software after connecting the printer.
You must refer to the Canon documentation for setting up your printer or contact Canon Technical Support of Canon hardware. You paid for a warranty by Canon when your purchased the printer!

Hi,
Before going any further, please let us know whether are any error message received? Whether you are able to printer other files?
Also, please go to the link Rick has provided to find the driver for Windows 7 and then whether some other software need to be installed before using this printer.
In addition, you can contact the Cano support to get more help

Hope this helps.
