I noticed a strange behaivor with my Harddrive (Hardware informations below) on Windows 7 RC Build 7100:

    1) If i scan for new hardware (or windows does it itself) the IDE Drive spins down and will not wakeup anymore, so the System frezzes.
    2) On wakeup from S3 (Standby) the Drive will not wakeup too.
    3) Everything works fine on XP (there are no chipset drivers by the manufactor, not for XP nor Windows 7).

Will this be changed? Or any Hints?

    Greetz, Tarqi

    Hardware Information:
-ASUS Notebook A6JM (Windows Vista Capable)
    -IDE Driver: Intel 82801G (ICH7) - 27DF

Standby/sleep tends to do that to various pieces of hardware on Windows 7 RC at the moment. If you can avoid doing so, it is your best bet until the issue is resolved.
