Hi I am having touble with my dvdram.
I have tried for many hours to resolve this issue, I give up...
I've tried Mr Fix or what ever the name is, switched ports on the mainboard.
Do you have a link where I can reinstall the driver, I tried HP also and I'm getting nowhere fast.
This happened while updating win 7

Also, try following the steps under "Windows 7 or Windows Vista" in the following MS KB article:

These steps, to remove the UpperFilters and LowerFilters values, if they exist, at the named registry key may help.
Create a System Restore Point beforehand and restart the computer afterward.
