Blue Screen on Windows 7 from Network Adapter
- Was getting a BSU after installing Windows 7 on a Dell desktop. So I submitted this in another thread "Blue Screen on Windows 7"
for the problem since after logging back it shows a gui that the system has recovered from an unexpected shutdown and would check for a solution to the problem but then the solution is not made known to the user.
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033
Additional information about the problem:

OS Version: 6_1_7600

felibo, your are experiencing a different Stop Error so you may benefit from starting your own thread.
However, from your minidump file your issue is being caused by the driver for your network card,
specifically the lne100v4.sys. The lne100v4.sys has a timestamp of "Thu May 04 02:07:50 2000"
so is an older driver and may not be compatible with Windows 7.
If you are unable to find a more recent driver for you network card consider, if it is possible,
to remove the card, and install a network card which has compatible Windows 7 drivers."
So I installed the Windows XP drivers to SOLVE THE PROBLEM for the LNE100TX which is lne100tx512_2 from

- felibo, thanks for posting how you fixed it. That's good info.
Hi,
Thank you for sharing the information with us.
Considering this is a hardware compatibility issue, it is also recommended that you go to Linksys for further investigation.
