general question about downoading language pack on existing sytem

hello,
I undestand now wat is language pack and LIP. I have windows 7 ultimate 64 bit on my computer in dutch language and now I want also install the english version , so I know I have to go trough update- update options and install the language pack on my computer running ultimate 7.
but I have one question here
1- do I have any image file on my computer , the windows which I am using now, I installed from DVD .
2-if the operating system( I mean ultimate or enterprise) has recovery partition wich is the case on all laptops ,does downloading an second language pack in this case should make any problems, because I read that language pack you want to download should not exist in the image file . and maybe in recovery partition exist an image file.

Windows 7 Ultimate and Enterprise English are eligible for MUI. The right procedure starts with English edition and languages are reacheable via optional update.
