    Basically, I was wondering if doing an upgrade installation of Windows 7 (Ultimate) from vista would reset NTFS folder permissions to it's defaults? Because they're basically all mixed up here and I'd like them back to default (for obvious security reasons), but an upgrade install still seems like less trouble to me.

    Well, to the bare minimum, would windows folder permissions be putted back to defaults?
