I have read a lot of posts on this subject and am going "blind". I can not create a catalog file for x86 wim. I have read that you should be able to open 32 bit and 64 bit wim on 2008r2 server. Then some say you have to open 32 bit on a 32 bit machine. Can anyone clarify this for me. I am trying to edit the unattend.xml file on several 32 bit images and an unsuccessful in doing so. The 64 bit wims are no problem. Any guidance would be appreciated as to what steps to take to get these open.
