Answered WAIK for Win7 download missing WAIK tools

    the SP1 version only includes the updated WINPE.wims. install the RTM WAIK first.

    Microsoft conveniently forgot about the RTM download for WAIK.  The updated KB3AIK_EN.iso can no longer be found.  I have access to this at work thankfully, but for other people, they need to fix this and put that download link back up for it.  I think they were so excited about posting the updated supplement they forgot about the original install.  Here is link, that is currently broken:

    That is kind of what I gathered based on the 'supplement' in the filename. So how do I go about notifying Microsoft about the missing/broken link?

    I was able to get a copy from a colleague that had previously downloaded it. It's also available through MSDN, but they really should fix the link in the TechNet article.

    I sent Microsoft an email yesterday about this, they emailed me back, and this has now been fixed.  Please see the link above in my original post.

    So.... they replaced the original WAIK RTM... now the supplement is missing.. lol... Oh Microsoft... looks like nobody in there office is actually sysprepping.  I replied to the email they sent me... we'll see how it goes.

    That is actually the original WAIK RTM again.  They announced that they have plans to put the supplement back up... just not yet.
