Windows 7 Default Profile

I am getting ready to deploy 80 new desktops and setup a default profile on the new machines. I know generally the default profiles are done via sysprep but I was wondering if this can be done server side. Instead of the machine copying the default profile locally, can this be done by pulling down from a server.
I'm not looking to setup roaming profiles, just to simply pull down the default profiles from a server and have it save locally.

I've never labbed this but it looks like exactly what your looking for in the link below. Basically its storing ta copy of the default profile under Netlogon with the name "default user.v2" and when a new user logs on it pulls this profile down, but not as a mandatory. Give it a shot and post back results.
support.microsoft.com/kb/973289
In the middle there is a section labeled " how to turn default user profile into a network default user profile in Windows 7....."
Be kind and Mark as Answer if I helped.
