windows 7 Enterprise depolyment

Hi
I have 18 systems in my class. we are using XP SP3. now i want to upgrade my env. but installing windows7 in 18 machines it takes toooo time
i have tried to make clone using GHOST or ACRONICE but it dosent work. I have windows 7 Enterprise version can we cloen it or can we create comman iamage

you can create a standard WIM file and deploy to all machines. These WIM images can be created Hardware independent as well as Language independent.

can you provide me some links for installation and is this deploy via network
or we can use USB and if i copy image to internal hard drive drive then it works ????

WIM Image can be captured using MDT ( Microsoft Deployment Toolkit) Task Sequence or even via ImageX.
The Image can be deployed through SCCM or WDS for Network based deployments.
Stand-Alone Media ( USB/DVD) based deployment is also possible through SCCM and MDT.

i have xp installed on my systems i don't want to delete other partitions just wanted to for mat C:\ drive only is this possible.
or please tell me some tool which will help. i.e. GHOST, ACRONIS or PARAGON DRIVE
