Answered RDP with existing credentials

    my users use windows 7 as workstation to go with rdp on windows server 2008r2 and they type username and password twice. is it possible to type username and password only when windows 7 is starting and mstsc.exe get credentials automaticly

    You would need to use some sort of SSO to do this.  If I recall correctly (and assuming correctly) you are using RDS to allow for Remote Apps or Remote Desktops.  Since the permissions groups are local to that server for the usage you would need to authenticate to the RDS server.

    I have not dug into RDS that much to know if there is a way in the back end to tell it to use AD Groups for the authentication but I know the test environment I setup had to be done with mostly local groups requiring authentication to the local RDS server.
