Answered System State

For reasons I won't get into we have turned off system restore on our domain. The problem is that when a system goes into windows repair (for whatever reason) it tends to restore the first and only system state which is outdated and causes even more problems.

Just wondering if I can turn of Windows Repair or if anyone might have a better solution. Thx.

    Hi,

Based on my test, it will ask you whether to perform a system restore when you perform a Startup Repair. It is a process of Startup Repair and I’m afraid that we cannot disable it. However, we can cancel it instead.

In addition, it is not recommended to disable Startup Repair or System Recovery Options. However, it you would like to do so, you can input command reagent /disable in privileged command prompt. This helps you to disable System Recovery Options.

If I have misunderstood your concern, please let me know more details and provide screenshots about the issue.
