It could probably be done if you change HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion
ProductName from "Windows 7 Ultimate” to “Windows Vista 7 Business” and then try a upgrade, its not supported but i think it will work. But why would do this? Windows 7 Ultimate end Enterprise have the same features, it is only license model that difference.

Is there a reason for wanting to do this? Enterprise and Ultimate are basically the same thing. Enterprise is sold to business and Ultimate is sold at retail. If it's running fine leave it alone is my view.- Marked As Answer by Juke ChouMicrosoft Contingent Staff, Moderator Tuesday, December 04, 2012 3:35 PM

Hi,
Just as Schloicka said, they are the same feature wise with only licensing differences. If you indeed want to install Windows Enterprise. Please perform a clean install.
