Hello,
I am attempting to use a minimal answer file to automate a DVD install of windows 7 SP1. I am installing to a 64-bit HP desktop. Everything looks good on the answer file, no errors when i validate it. Everything goes fine at first but when I get to the disk config pass it always gives an error that it cannot set a partition to active on Disk 0. It does, however, make the partitions (i know this because when i use diskpart to clean away the partitions the partitions from the answer file are there. Has anybody experienced this?

Apparently it doesn't create the partitions. They're already there! When you check it using diskpart you're always presented the (old) disk layout created at the beginning.
just as an advice: i use diskpart script to prepare my partitions and after that start the Windows setup.
