I have a single pc in my environment that for some reason all of a sudden cannot install programs I deploy using GPO.
The errors I am getting are as follow:
Level: Warning. Details: application X is an upgrade and will cause the assignment of application Y to be removed. Event 202
Level: Information. Details: the removal of Application Y succeeded. Event 303
Level: Warning. Details: the assignment of application X failed. Event 101
Level: Warning. Details: Application X was configured to upgrade application Y. The assignment or the install of the upgrade application X failed with error: %%1274 The upgrade will be aborted. Event 109
Level: Warning. Details: Failed to apply changes to software installation settings. The installation of software deployed through Group Policy for this user has been delayed until the next logon because the changes must be applied before the user logon. The error was : %%1274. Event 108
Any idea how I can resolve this? It is not just one GPO. It fails for any deployed software installation

Hi,
What't the software do you install? If it's the third party software, you should contact the software vendor for further help.
Also for Event ID 202, please refer to:http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=202&source=
Event ID 101:http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=101&source=
Event ID 109:http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=109&source=
Event ID 108:http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=108&source=
Hope this helps.

I am not sure how a vendor could help. The installation works fine on all my other PCs. It is just one that does not work correctly. There has to be something wrong with that one PC but I am not sure what since it is setup the same way that the others areHi,

Hi,
Please check the issue under the Safe Mode.
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode
If the issue would not persist under the Safe Mode, you may try to perform a clean startup to determine whether background programs are interfering with program.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331796
If above methods can not solve your problem, please uninstall that application and reinstall it for check.
Regards.
