How can I make the text darker
-
Monday, May 07, 2012 11:43 PMI have just purchased my new Windows 7 Laptop, but find that the text print could do to be darker. I have used the fade in/out buttons, but that only adjusts the screen. Can someone help. Thanks.

Hi,
do the following:
GO TO-> "personalize / window colors / advanced appearence settings.. /"
There you can edit the text and choose i.g. another Font.
Kind regards,

Hi Tim,
Thanks for the reply re getting the print of the text DARKER. However, you say go to 'personalize' etc. However, where do I find the 'personalize' section - stupid or what, it's taking me a while to get used to this new Window's 7 edition.
I have another problem that perhaps you can help me with. From my old computer, I took back-up discs to download to my new computer, ie documents, pictures, downloads etc, but when I got it up and running, there is nothing in my 'favourites list', and I really need the information as I have saved a lot of info/sites there relating to the websites that I build. Any ideas as to how I can get them transferred?
My previous computer was Windows XP if that helps.
Thanks a lot.

Hi,
you can find "Personalize":
"Rightclick" on the "desktop" and then you can click on "Personalize".
IE Favorites in XP are located in:
C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Favorites
Copy the folder to your Windows 7 Installation:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Favorites
Kind regards,
Tim
