Hello all.  I am trying to figure out which file I need to get SP1 for my Windows 7.  I'm trying to install SQL Server Evaluation 2012 and I'm getting a message that says I need SP 1 installed, before I can install SQL Server 2012.

I think the file is here:

    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5842

The only problem is that there are a LOT of files there.  Do I need one of those, or something else perhaps.

Thanks for the help and guidance with this!!

It will be one of the bottom 2 files. X64 for a 64 bit operating system and X86 for a 32 bit operating system. Install and then use windows update to check for more updates.

Got it!  Thanks.  It's kind of weird that it wouldn't come in automatically, right.  I clicked Start > All Programs > Windows Update, and got all critical updates.  I did it a few times; made sure to get everything.  Nevertheless, I had to manually go get the SP 1.  I would have thought it would come in with the critical updates.  Guess not.
