I get the message that my catalyst control center has stopped working. I went to this forum and read information about updating the driver. I followed the directions and tried to update a driver for it. It states AMD Driver Installation failed. Could not download file. Could not parse error.
So now what should I do?

For assistance with AMD/ATI software and problems, please go to the AMD Community forums @ http://sites.amd.com/us/game/community/Pages/community.aspx
AMD provides their own support for their products and they have a help forum where you can post your problem.
Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. ” -

First download the latest Graphics/Video driver to a folder on your drive:
Check the Graphics card manufacture's download site for the most recent Windows 7 driver for your card.
ATI: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspxNext unintall both the Catalyst software and AMD graphics device driver. (you may be required to reboot). Windows will then run at a reduced resolution mode.
Finally install the AMD driver you downloaded.
