How do you open UDF files with Windows 7

I am trying to move files from a backup DVD and CD (that was created using Windows XP and Nero) to my new PC running Windows 7 with Roxio. When I open the discs with explorer, windows tells me that the files are empty (and I know the data is there). I think the problem has something to do with the UDF format used to close the discs. The old PC is gone, so I can't use easy transfer. Is there asafe UDF reader out there that works with Windows 7 64bit?
Thanks for any help you can provide..........Joe
