Volume Mixer - Headset Earphone, Mic levels
- This discussion I started on another thread, on Chris's advice I am starting a new thread.My PC is mainly used for gaming, at the moment dual booting Vista and Windows 7 RC.Problem is trying to get headset microphone volume at a usable level in Teamspeak, the sound controls in the system tray seem to be locked in relationship to your default sound, (Plantonics USB headset) when I lower my Headset volume to an acceptable level folks cannot hear me on my mic as it has lowered also, there seems no way of moving the sliders indepenatly of the master volume.See this screenie http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k313/smokeysco/Screenshot.jpgTis the only major issue I have with Windows 7, so far ;-)

- I got this one too. Almost zero mic volume. I know it's there because the level moved very slightly in the dialogue box but that's about it.
Pushing buttons...randomly - Try boosting your mic gain from your sound drivers. mine lets me do a gain of about +40 dB
