PS3
- Hi I've just change from an earlier version on seven to the latest one due to the previous one expiring, yet when i have done this my PS3 no no longer finds my laptop on the network. Therefore leaving me unable to stream media from my laptop to my ps3.
Does anyone know how to get it back?
Thanks
Matt

- Hi Matt,
Had the same problem. Do all the usual stuuf in WMP for folders and such. Then you need to head to the Network settings in the control panel, and setup your HomeGroup settings, quite straight forward in there but without doing this you cant stream.
However this is where another problem develops, the PS3 picks up my Media Server, i can browse my media and select them but after a couple of minutes the playback freezes along with my PC! This requires a full restart to begin using windows again. Let me know if you get this same problem, would be interesting to see if its not just me.... I have updated all my drives as best i can and even tried the Tversity application, again the PS3 picks up the media server but after a few minutes playback my PC freezes.
Hope this is of some help
