Screen Saver Can't find Photos
-
Wednesday, May 20, 2009 11:27 PMThe screen saver can not find photos unless they are in the main folders in my pictures library. My screen saver gives me a black screen with the message "There are no pictures in ::{031E4825-7B94-4DC3-B131-E946B44C8DD5}Pictures.library-ms".
I structure my photos folders as pictures/year/month/day, so the pictures folder will only have subfolders inside.
Do the libraries not automatically include subfolders? I'm running Win7 RC (Build 7100) on a Dell laptop plugged in.

No they dont, so you will have to make a picture folder ( or use the onw already there) and pin point the screen saver where al your pictures are

Friday, June 10, 2011 9:04 PMI get the exact same error message. When I search to find that file, I get no results. How can I find this file to delete it? Running 7 with ServPack 1.

I have exact same problem. Running 7 with Service Pack 1. A file search for the file yields no results. How do I delete this file?

Bob: please try resetting the Pictures library, by following these instructions:

Does that help?
