Error after reloading Windows 7

After a crash, I had to reload Windows Vista and then reload the upgrade to 32 bit Windows 7. Everything seems OK except that an audio recording device cvannot be detected. It was there before I crashed...where did it go and how do I get it back?

If you browse to devmgmt.msc you should see something in there with a warning sign. You should right click, go to properties and you should be able to browse for your drive. Select to browse online rather than on your local machine. If it doesn't work you could manually download and install the driver easily.
Go to your laptop manufacturers site. Drivers are usually under the downloads section of the support page. Just search the make and model. Good luck
