Compiled a video project all the music that I added to the project plays perfectly sound is fine.  I then go to burn DVD using save movie burn a DVD.  The project burns DVD as normal, play the DVD on the computer no music, play on television the same thing no music.  Is there a setting I'm missing that I have to tell it to burn audio files at same time as the movie files?  If so I cannot find it anywhere.

Hi PCapp, as Movie Maker is included in Windows Live Essentials, for Windows Live Movie Maker issue, I recommend you check the following links:

You can send feedback to us via the link:

Also, for your reference, you can try the following steps:

    A) You can check the sound settings in the movie maker.

Adjust the volume of each audio clip individually by doing the following:

On the Audio or Audio/Music track of the timeline, select the audio clip whose volume you want to adjust.

    1. Click Clip, point to Audio, and then click Volume.
    2. To adjust the volume, do one of the following:
    3. To reduce the volume, slide the Audio volume level slider to the left.
    4. To increase the volume, slide the Audio volume level slider to the right.
    5. To mute the clip, select the Mute clip check box.
    6. To reset the volume to the original volume, click Reset.

Check the link” Adjusting audio in Windows Movie Maker: frequently asked questions” http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Adjusting-audio-in-Windows-Movie-Maker-frequently-asked-questions

    B) Check if the file type is supported with windows movie maker.

You can import files with the following file name extensions into Windows Movie Maker to use in your project:

Video files: .asf, .avi, dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv
Audio files: .aif, .aifc, .aiff, .asf, .au, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .snd, .wav, and .wma
Picture files: .bmp, .dib, .emf, .gif, .jfif, .jpe, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff, and .wmf

If you want to import a file into Windows Movie Maker that has a different extension from the ones listed above, in the file type list, choose All Files. Windows Movie Maker can import most file types, but not all file types will work when you try to use them to make a movie.

    Hope this helps!
