IMAP with Hotmail accounts Outlook

HI
I understand that EAS does not work with GMail in Office 13 and so I am thinking of setting up a hotmail account
Am very dismayed that hotmail does not support IMAP

Hi Niki
I am running office 2007 and will not upgrade again till 2013, which I await eagerly
However I have solved by concern by using hotmail with Exchange services
