    I recently transferred my music files to this new computer which is a HP Pavillion HPE 510t. My problem is with Media Center music files. The albums show up, as well as the authors and genres. However the song list will only show 1 song. I have cleared the music files in WMP and nothing changes.

    Everything else in Media Center works;  if play an indivual song  and hit the "view song list", all 812 songs show up on the list, but they will not populate the "songs" portion of Media Center.

     

    I have uninstalled and re-installed Media Center and Windows Media Player several times and nothing has changed.

    Do you get the same or a similar issue in Windows Media Player's library? What's the file type (or types) of your music files (MP3, WMA, WAV...)?

    Tim my music files are WMA. Now the music titles are now populated in the Media Center Music section. I didn't do anything different and when I opened Media Center the individual songs were there! They have been there for the last couple of days. Go figure
