What is the Anti- Virus  software we are using?

    What is the source server?

We have seen quite a few issue with older  version  Symantec Endpoint Protection and Win7.

    May this Happen,

Because files is busy or used by another program, So try to logoff and then try it, Or close the file from task manager or file related applicatio.

    If still

then may be you don't have sufficient permission for copy this file. Then try to make a permission for there users and then try to copys.

    Thanks for your reply !!!

We are using McAfee antivirus [but I don’t think so that this is related to antivirus, I completely uninstall the antivirus but this was same]

Source is win7 system, destination is share folder in win 2008 R2 file server

File size is 2 KB to 2 MB

I heard that there is a patch in win vista, which can solve this issue, is it so in win 7

It taking too much time in copying a files in KB this is stange for me.

    thanks !!

User is having full permission on file, even user is owner of file,

The file is free no other application is using these files
