Thursday, June 21, 2012 9:06 PMI have an HP Pavilion dv5 lap top, it runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I purchased a HP Photosmart 7510 all in one printer. I have not been able to get the software to download on my lap top. I was chating with HP yesterday for about 4 1/2 hours and got nowhere with it. When it gets to the part Operating System is preparing to install driver, it errors out with error 0x00000057.

Hi,
Firstly, please try to install the drivers which come from HP Download Website and see how it works.
If issue persists, please let us know how you connect your printer to the laptop and try the following:1. Run Printer troubleshooter and see how it works.
2. Run Microsoft Fixit: Diagnose and fix printer and printing problems automatically.
Hope this helps.
