Printer port settings unavailable

Monday, February 04, 2013 12:08 PMWindows 7, 64 bit, all the patches and service packs in an AD environment. I need to modify the port properties of printers that had already been set up, but it seems everything is grayed out and I can't click on anything. my account is Domain Admin and is in the local Admin group. Oddly, if i log in as the local administrator I can modify the properties but the local admin has no network rights so I can't add a queue from the printer server. It seems that it must be a rights or GPO issue but I have no idea where to look for these settings. Thanks too who post.
