Wireless Connectivity
-
Wednesday, November 28, 2012 5:32 PMWhenever I power up and login I cannot connect wirelessly to any network. When I run Windows diagnostics it finds that Wireless has not been enabled and it proceeds to "fix" the problem. That sometimes works well and lasts a long time, sometimes I lose connectivity right away, sometimes repeatedly. How do I enable wireless conectivity? I am running a newer (March 2012) Asus Laptop with Windows 7 Professional. Thanks!

Hi,
Please try the following to narrow down the issue:
1. Boot to Safe Mode with networking and see how it works.
2. Please check if there is a new version of Windows 7 driver released. If so, please try to remove the current on and install the latest version. Also, you can try to reinstall the driver for test.
Hope this helps.

Monday, December 10, 2012 5:42 PMExact same symptoms result. No new driver from ASUS available. The network card indicates that it is enabled. I have changed the properties page to connect even if SSID is not being broadcast. Very frustrating.
