IP config release/renew. Media disconnected. HElp!

  Okay, custom pc. Don't know much about any of this. am trying to renew my ip address because I believe it is the source of my desktop's connection issues, where as no other technology in the house has issues. haven't a clue if the connection was done correctly or what not. it only just two days ago started showing signs of a connection,and yet there was no internet access. would reboot the modem and the connection starts working for a few hours until later that night where it starts showing slight problems again, in which case i reboot the modem once more.

  I first off tried to ipconfig/renew and I got this message:No operation can be performed on Wireless Network Connection 2 while it has its media disconnected. No operation can be performed on Local Area Connection while it has its media disconnected.

  Haven't a clue what that means beyond that the minor fix I was hoping for is shot and I'm stuck asking pc savvy people for snail mail time frame help.

  did ip config/all and here is what I got. any help is appreciated greatly because the disruption is furious making when I'm sitting by helpless to fix it.
