In Network and sharing center the wifi cinnection reades unaiuthenticated and is a work network not a domian.
I have checkd for spyware, i have removed the profile and computer renammed the computer and profile and readded to domain, no difference. it wokrs fine for a wired connection, and even off thr domain and in a workgroup i cant get DNS resoloution. i can ping ip address externaly, internaly but not the server. i cant get any domain name resoloution. it worked fine until i changed the router/wireless today due to failure. it is connected to a SBS 2011 server. the other 5 laptops connected wireless work fine. any thoughts?

Ok:
For example check the type of encryption algorithm (right-click then property SSID):
and check the type of security: 802.1X, WEP, WPA, WPA2 ......... and the type of encryption berthing
Then check the gathering on the other pc and also on the router ...
If no problems found trying to modify the config

Hi,
I notice that it wokrs fine for a wired connection and the issue appear after changing the router. The issue should related with the configuration of Wireless router. I suggest to contact router manufacturer for further help.
Furthermore, you can try to temporally disable firewall on Windows 7 for test.
Thank you for your understanding.Leo Huang

Tuesday, January 29, 2013 10:30 AMYes I even suspect with Windows Firewall but strange fix is "Rejoining to Domain / Recollecting Network ID". It worked flawless!!
