Hi
We have problem with sharing in domain using Windows 7 clients. All users in domain are users or power users (set locally) and each time user is trying to share admin rights pops up! Users that are still on Windows XP Clients are all power users locally and they share without any problems. It would be fantastic if there is any way to allow all users on domain to use advanced share so that Windwos 7 Clients have same rights as Windows XP users.
thanks

This is the security pop up from User Account Control. You can turn User Account Control off.

Yes.You have to be at least a Power User to be able to create shares. Normal
users do not have this right.sharing folders require higher permissions on the DC, so the user must be an admin account. As no local admins exist on DCs you can add him to the domain admins group or you create the shares yourself if you don't trust him enough.
Why Don't Search first in Forum ?
There many people that have this problem .
