I accidentally posted this last night in the wrong forum so I think this one is more appropriate.  My next door neighbor is letting me connect to his wireless and things were going well for a few months but now for the past few weeks I'm stuck.  My machine is trying to connect every few seconds and according to the signal indicator sometimes it appears I have access but I can never view any websites.  When I try other hotspots everything seems fine so I'm thinking it's a router issue or something on his end.  I have a feeling it's a simple fix but I'm desperate to find an answer from someone out there. Thank you.

    Hi,

You are right. It is not a Windows 7 issue, it is a signal issue. The wireless signal is too weak so that you cannot view the websites. You may use another wireless network instead.  Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you for your response.  Now today everything seems to working fine.  Strange. The only reason I don't believe it could be a weak signal is because I went over to his house and tried it in the same room as the router and still had trouble.  I read that windows 7 can be problematic with certain routers.  Not sure what it is except some setting on with his router.  What do you think?
