I cannot get online through the pci card which isnt recognised by windows on the device manager and the little led is not lit. I also cannot get online through the motherboards ethernet port. The light is on to signal a cable in, but windows says that there is no cable connected. The mobo i am using is a ASUS® A8N-VM

    Hello deadhac,

Are there any driver conflicts present in Device Manager?

Have you been able to connect to the Internet yet?

I have the same prob with an HP A6720y pc running on a AMD Phenom 9550 Quad using the onboard USB 802.11 b/g adaptor. No conflicts, nada... Win7 simply fails to see it. Tried everything and still can't get it to recognize. I can however connect through the wired ethernet adaptor with no prob.
