Discussion Dchp service will not start- Error 3

    I just not my new computer (Win. 7 Home Basic) and have been using it great for the past 2 weeks, then, my internet decided to stop working. I traced it to my drivers corrupting for some reason. After re-installing the drivers, my Dchp, and DPS service will not start, getting errors of Access Denied.

    I am logged into an admin account, using regedit I've set permissions, but no luck...

    Anyone have some advice?

    Hi,

    Error-3 means the system cannot find the path specified. Regarding thsi issue, you shuold post your even log first.

    Then you can  restart your comupter in Last Known Good Config mode to try if the problem be resolved.

    Anyway, I need your event log.
