local area connection doesn't have a valid ip configuration

I am having this problem and it has appeared out of nowhere for no reason. Yesterday my lan connected fine and today it refuses to. Router and internet connection are fine and I can connect with my laptop with no problem. It's just my PC that can't even connect to the network. I get the "local area connection doesn't have a valid ip configuration" error when troubleshooting the network problems.
I have tried reinstalling the Network adapter driver and I've read a lot of threads from people who are having the same problem and have tried numerous solutions that have worked for other people but nothing has worked for me.
Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7601]

You may need to check your network card for physical damage.
You may first try to give a good look into your card's network socket and check if any pins are bent.
Next, switch of your router. Remove power cord from your mains socket. Really remove it. Don't cheat. Wait for two minutes and power on your router again.
If that fails, you may try installing network monitor tool
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=4865
With this tool, you should be able to see "DHCP" packets being exchanged between your PC and your network router.
If that fails, get another network card and install it in your PC.

Hi,
Let’s try to get new IP automatically.
Input cmd in search bar, run as administrator
Input ipconfig /release, then input ipconfig /renewIf it’s still fail, try to disable IP v6.
Hope this helps.
