M4A77D with Phenom II 965 BE | 6 GB DDR2 | GTX 260 216 core | AL1916| TX850V2 | Windows 7 x64 Enterprise
Now my rig is a respectable gaming platform and since I grabbed the Phenom the WEI has jumped from 4.9 all the way to 7.5 and it also boosted my DDR2-800 big time too.
So using a SSD, can I expect to see some significant performance. The problem for me, SSDs are way too small. With all the RAM I have ReadyBoost is pointless too.

Your 5.9 will go up to somewhere above 7.2 dependant on the make (and firmware more importantly) of the SSD. The Wei WEI is of course relative because in Win 8 they changed the Highest number from 7.9 to 9.9 and your rig would be around 9.x +
Benchmarks can give you a more accurate indication of the actual performace and I swear by them.
Good luck gaming.

I am playing Bulletstorm of late and its a comparatively good game.
I just use 7 mostly due to widespread game problems with 8. I am not ready to toss $5,000 worth of games.
