    My small acre net book stopped starting up and It says it cannot preform normal startup repair, so I then tried to restore it to factory settings; however, after an hour of no progress it shows an error message like the 1/0 device is damaged or something. Is there anything I can do?

    We are going to need much more info and more specific info like the error message.

    What troubleshooting have you done so far? 

    Please provide as many more details as you can.
