BSOD without Sleep
-
Tuesday, March 20, 2012 7:09 AM
Hello everyone,
I have been having problems with BSODs for quite a while when I was gaming or making music. It took me quite a while to find out, under which circumstances these BSODS appear and I can't find an explanation for this. These BSODs appear if I have not sent my computer to sleep mode for at least once after a restart. If my computer has been in sleep mode once, BSODs do not appear anymore. In addition I noticed, that performance is lower after getting back from sleep mode.

Please start by that:
- Udpate all possible drivers
- Uninstall all unused programs
- Perform a cleanup boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
- Disable all security softwares that you have
- Run chkdsk /r /f and sfc /scannow
- Run memtest86+ to check if all is okay with your RAM. If an error was detected then replace the faulty RAM or contact your manufacturer Technical Support.
Once done, check results. If this does not help then please upload new dump files.

Have you tried what I mentioned?
If you suspect hardware failures then it will be better to contact your manufacturer Technical Support for hardware diagnosis.

You could also see if you can identify the driver after enabling driver verifier, see my discussion of this error:
