Răspuns MBAM Client not responding

    Hi guys,

    I test the mbam with 2 server topology, (one is DC ,the other is mbam server with sql);

    Mbam server is windows 2008 r2 enterprise and sql server 2008 r2 enterprise with all necessary prerequisite.

    I deployed the MBAM group policy on the AD server, and force  the client to retrieve the policy.

    Then I install the MBAM client 32bit in win7 Enterprise,double-click "C:\Program Files\Microsoft\MDOP MBAM\MBAMDeploymentKey Template"

    and set the "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MBAM\KeyRecoveryServiceEndpoint" as "http://192.168.20.103:8080/MBAMRecoveryAndHardwareService/.../"

    then the client drive can encryption automatically. 

    But I check the MBAM server,there is nothing in the report tab.

    So I modify the client registry,

    HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\FVE\MDOPBitLockerManagement
    Change the ClientWakeUpFrequency = 1 and StatusReportingFrequency=1

    and create a dword value “NoStartupDelay” under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\MBAM and set its value to 1.

    After these action, the client [event views--applications and service--microsoft--windows--mbam] show the error as below:

    "An error occured while applying MBAM policies.
    =*Volume ID:\\?\Volume{640b6084-9565-11e1-9277-806e6f6e6963}\ 

    Error code:
    0x803d0006 

    Details:
    The operation did not complete within the time allotted."

    Is there any way in which i can troubleshoot the error?

    Hi

    the issue has resolved.

    When I deployed the bitlocker client, I use the MBAMDeploymentKey Template registry file  and the GPOs at same time.

    So I remove the MBAMDeploymentKey Template registry,  restart the client, it is working normally.
