    KB2721691 addresses a vulnerability in MSXML4.0.

    I was wondering what versions of MSXML 4.0 were affected by this vulnerability. The KB article does not mention which service packs are affected.

    I ask this because most of the PCs in my environment are running MSXML 4.0 SP2. However, WSUS considers this patch not applicable, so this patch is not being pushed to PCs in my enviroment.

    I know that upgrading to SP3 would probably make WSUS push the update, but I can not lobby for that in my organization until I can prove with out doubt that our systems are affected.

    Any help on this would be appreciated.
