    Hello Team,

    Is there any tool or way to force BitLocker to check the HDD for bad sectors before the encryption process start?

    The idea is to prevent feature HDD failure, like if for some reason the HDD needs to be decrypted via recovery tools and on the HDD has bad sector, the decryption process will fail, correct?

    Other encryption software's like McAfee has such tools for example.

    I don't believe there's that kind of pre-emptive check as of the current version. MBAM 2.0 is in beta so it may be coming, I'm not sure.
