    Our client has Win7 Enterprise on their laptops. They do not have administrator rights. Still they call and claim the "Administrator thing" is not working. Yes, I work at a h3ll desk. How could we remove that option...? When we remote all we need is shift+right click - run as another user. Thank you!

    Hi,


    We can edit the registry keys to achieve it. Note: Please backup the registry keys before modifying it.


    1. Open Notepad.exe.

    2. Paste the following commands.


    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\batfile\shell\runas]

    [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\cmdfile\shell\runas]

    [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\cplfile\shell\runas]

    [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\shell\runas]

    [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\mscfile\shell\RunAs]


    3. Save as remove.reg file.

    4. Double click it.
