last year in the summer i used to frequently update the computer with windows update. but once this new update came along. it was installed and then i restarted mu computer. then came the starting windows message without the win 7 icon. it brought me to start up repair and tried to fix my issues. it fixed it, i restarted it, and then i saw that the windows update was erased. so i reinstalled it(stupid me) and this time start up repair couldn't fix it. i had to do system restore and ever since then i have never updated it again.but my computer isn;t working so well and most sites you have to be up to date on your os to have maximum computer speed. how can i download the updates without that problem happening again.

I would like to verify if Windows Update offers the problematic update again. Please let me know the update KB number. How about other updates?
If the problematic update is not offered, it is probably replaced by other latest updates. If your computer doesn't work well, please let me know more details about what you encountered.
