    Hi.
    I can't make Windows 7 activate the firewall. It cannot be reset. The answer is "Windows firewall can't reset som of your settings Error Code 0x80070422" every time for every action. How/where do I check that the settings were implemented during installation?
    Do I need to reinstall Win 7 again to get this to work? I had to do some job in order to get the form in Outlook calendar to work so mayby some elements of the installation code got lost in the transfer from the downloa site??

    Greatful for any input on this.

    Hi,

    I had the same problem in Vista 64. It appeared in connection with an "MMC Console" error message.
    All programs using the mmc (firewall, services, event viewer,...) crashed frequently until I reinstalled Vista.

    You should try to reinstall W7. It´s only an RC so don´t expect too much.

    i had the same problem. it's because the windows firewall service was disabled. set it to manual and it should work.
